With Traci Mims | Recorded August 2, 2025

As part of the 3rd Annual BAIA Fine Art Print Fair, Inked Resistance debuted as a moving tribute to 100 Years of African American Printmaking. This thought-provoking program, led by nationally acclaimed artist Traci Mims, explored how printmaking has been—and remains—a powerful voice for social change, resistance, and cultural identity.

Through her lens as both artist and educator, Mims bridged historical legacy and modern practice, spotlighting pivotal artists, landmark movements, and the evolution of techniques from the Harlem Renaissance to today. Known for her bold linocuts and woodcuts, she offered an inspiring look at the enduring role of printmaking in shaping narratives of Black life, history, and activism.
