From Beale to Bourbon Street: Deep Down in the Mississippi Delta

This exhibition traces the layered visual storytelling of Najee Dorsey, whose work emerges from the cultural and spiritual crossroads of the American South. A bridging between Beale Street and Bourbon Street, Dorsey conjures a Southern narrative rooted in rhythm and resistance.

Through mixed media, photomontage and sculpture, Dorsey creates a textured narrative - where bluesmen and conjure women stand as bastions of remembrance, whispering that “stories untold are stories forgotten “.

….That beauty lies between memory, myth, and rebirth.
