ATLANTA, GA — August 25, 2026 — Black Art In America™ has announced record results from its fourth annual BAIA Fine Art Print Fair and Works on Paper Show, held August 14–16 at BAIA Gallery and Gardens in East Point, Georgia.
Building on the momentum and success of BAIA fine art print fairs in Houston and San Francisco, the 2026 Atlanta edition became the organization’s most successful print fair to date. The event generated a 139% increase in sales and a 40% increase in attendance, reflecting growing collector interest in fine art prints, limited editions, and original works on paper.
One of the fair’s strongest market indicators was increased buyer activity in the $5,000 to $9,000 range, representing a substantial rise from previous years. Collectors demonstrated a willingness to invest at higher levels when presented with works that combined artistic significance, quality, rarity, and potential long-term value.
The fair also demonstrated that the desire to acquire art remains high, even as buyers become more selective about where and how they spend. Rather than moving away from the art market, collectors are looking more carefully for quality works offered at accessible and value-driven price points, with many attendees acquiring multiple works throughout the weekend. This serves as a signal that collectors were not simply browsing or making isolated purchases. They were actively building collections, expanding existing holdings, and responding to the opportunity to compare works by established, mid-career, emerging, and historically significant artists in one focused setting.
The inclusion of original works on paper alongside fine art prints significantly expanded the fair’s appeal. Collectors could choose between accessible limited editions and one-of-a-kind original works, creating opportunities to acquire at multiple price point.
The results also reflect BAIA’s continued investment in collector education.
