BAIA Sponsoring Two Artist For Historic Shaw Art Fair

On The BAIA Beat:

Black Art In America will be a media partner of the Historic Shaw Art Fair which takes place in St. Louis City, October 5 & 6, 2024. In its 32nd Season, the Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association has hosted the historic fair since the fall of 1993. As part of the media partnership with Shaw, BAIA is sponsoring the participation of two Black artists at the fair. 

As the preeminent fine art fair in St. Louis, the Historic Shaw Art Fair boasts 120 artists in a variety of disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, drawing, fiber art, digital art, glass, metal work, jewelry, mixed media, and wood. The two-day event is located on Flora Place at Tower Grove Avenue across from the Missouri Botanical Garden. 

The Shaw Neighborhood is a historic district protected by city ordinance. The Shaw Neighborhood Improvement Association is a non-profit organization that works to strengthen the community by engaging residents on relevant issues, promoting the neighborhood, and sponsoring community events.
